Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Meetory platform ("Service"), operated by Magdee Technologies ("we," "our," or "us"), a company registered in India, accessible at meetory.ai.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Account Terms

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
  • You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your password with others.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Meetory is an AI-powered meeting intelligence platform that:

  • Deploys a meeting bot to join and record meetings on Google Meet, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams
  • Transcribes meeting audio using AI in 10+ Indian languages and English
  • Generates summaries, action items, and highlights from transcriptions
  • Integrates with Google Calendar to detect and join scheduled meetings
  • Stores meeting data for your review and reference

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Record meetings without the knowledge and consent of all participants, where required by applicable law
  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
  • Upload, transmit, or distribute any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks
  • Use the Service for any purpose that is fraudulent or otherwise harmful to others
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Service
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written consent
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Service beyond what we explicitly provide

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all applicable recording consent laws in your jurisdiction (e.g., one-party or two-party consent laws).

4. Meeting Recording Consent

When you use Meetory to record a meeting, our bot joins the meeting as a visible participant. It is your responsibility to:

  • Inform all meeting participants that the meeting is being recorded
  • Obtain consent from participants as required by applicable laws and the policies of the meeting platform being used
  • Ensure recording complies with your organization's policies

We are not responsible for any legal consequences arising from your failure to obtain proper consent.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, and documentation, is owned by Magdee Technologies and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the Service.

5.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create or upload to the Service, including meeting recordings, transcriptions, and any notes. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

5.3 AI-Generated Content

Summaries, action items, highlights, and other AI-generated outputs are derived from your content. You own these outputs subject to the limitations of the underlying AI models. We make no claim of ownership over AI-generated outputs produced from your content.

6. Google API Services

Meetory uses Google API Services to access your Google Calendar data with your permission. Our use of Google API data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You may revoke access at any time through your Google Account settings.

7. Payment and Billing

  • Certain features of the Service may require a paid subscription.
  • All fees are stated in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@meetory.ai for billing inquiries.

8. Availability and Modifications

  • We strive to keep the Service available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
  • We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.
  • We do not warrant that AI-generated transcriptions, summaries, or action items will be accurate, complete, or error-free.
  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
  • Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • We are not liable for any damages resulting from unauthorized recording of meetings or failure to comply with consent laws.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Magdee Technologies, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using account settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
  • We will delete your data within 30 days of account termination, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Sections on Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law survive termination.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, India.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Magdee Technologies regarding the use of the Service.
